Autumn 2003

In this class, I explored art-making using digital technology. I must point out that the focus is capturing the same elements found in painting and drawing, such as line, form, contrast, using digital media.

I did five projects, three of which stayed within the domain of painting and drawing. In the last two projects, I did an about-face and focused more on exploiting the capabilities/properties of the web and interactive media. For example, in a part of the "motion" piece, I allowed the users to participate in the experience I had as a child making things I did not have. Users were given a set of objects which they can combine to access my little stories.
