Spring 2003

This was a web site I created for a class on chado (the Way of Tea). The class taught me about the art of the Japanese tea ceremony. One of the projects we had to do was learn as much as we can about spring flowers: cherry blossom, peony, and the iris.

In this web site, I wanted to capture the harmony and simplicity that chado encourages among its practitioners. I used a deep blue background to contrast with the bright colors of the flowers.
